hitachivantara.vspone_block.vsp.hv_user module – Manages users on Hitachi VSP storage systems.

This module is part of the hitachivantara.vspone_block collection (version 3.4.0).

You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible package. It is not included in ansible-core. To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list.

To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install hitachivantara.vspone_block. You need further requirements to be able to use this module, see Requirements for details.

To use it in a playbook, specify: hitachivantara.vspone_block.vsp.hv_user.

IP address or hostname of the storage system.

password

Password for authentication. This is a required field.

username

string

Username for authentication. This is a required field.

spec

dictionary / required

Specification for the user.

group_names

list / elements=string

User group name. You can specify up to 8 group names.

id

string

The ID of the user.

name

string

The name of the user.

password

string

The password of the user.

state

string

Operation to be performed on the user.

add_user_group - To add the user to the user groups.

remove_user_group - To remove the user from the user groups.

Choices:

  • "add_user_group"

  • "remove_user_group"

state

string

The desired state of the user task.

Choices:

  • "present" ← (default)

  • "absent"
